Data from the last 30 days in AskSpot. At GadziSklep, a single chat often helps a shopper put together a whole terrarium – from choosing the right enclosure, through lighting and heating, to accessories, supplementation and feeders. With that end-to-end support, many chats turn into complete purchases, and shoppers rate AskSpot’s help 4.3/5.

“At GadziSklep, customers often need more than product information – they’re looking for specific advice on keeping their animal. AskSpot helps them choose the right products for a given species, answers their questions and guides them through the range even when our team is already off. That lets us stay available to customers almost around the clock, without losing service quality. It’s a solution that brings knowledge, advice and sales together in one place.”

Before AskSpot

In terrarium-keeping, shoppers rarely want just one product

Terrarium shopping often starts with a question, not a specific product. A shopper wants to prepare the right conditions for their animal, or to build a terrarium from scratch, but they need to know which lighting and heating to choose, how to keep the right temperature and humidity, which substrate to use, what to feed and how to handle supplementation properly. Every one of these depends on the species, the animal’s age and the conditions inside the terrarium, so a product page alone isn’t always enough to make the right decision.

GadziSklep is built by people who have kept exotic animals for years, so shoppers expect not just a broad range but real expertise. The online store carries terrarium equipment, feeders and live invertebrates, while reptiles, amphibians and other vertebrates are sold in the physical store only.

AskSpot brings some of that expertise straight into the online store. The AI chat helps a shopper choose products for a specific species, answers husbandry questions, and can take a user from a single problem all the way to a complete setup. That way shoppers can get help even when the shop’s team isn’t available – in the evening, at the weekend, or while browsing the range on their own.

Rollout

How GadziSklep rolled out AI chat

One module, set up in the order a keeper actually shops: understand the species, build the whole enclosure, then handle the livestock, feeders and supplements – all grounded in real husbandry, not a product list.

AI Chat Agent

Step 01

Species & Husbandry Grounding

Answering care questions, not just listing products

The PrestaShop catalogue was grounded in real husbandry – enclosure size, UVB need and strength, temperature, humidity, diet per species – so “I want a corn snake but don’t know where to start” gets a correct, complete answer from breeders’ knowledge, not a category page.

What shoppers ask

  • I want a corn snake but don’t know where to start
  • What does a Budgett’s frog actually need?
  • What’s the right terrarium for an adult ball python?

AI Chat Agent

Step 02

The Full-Setup Builder

Enclosure, lighting, heating and hides – in one basket

The agent was taught to match the parts of a build to each other – UVB strength and heat to the enclosure size and species, hides and substrate to the animal – so it assembles a whole, compatible setup and adds each piece, from brands GadziSklep stocks like Exo Terra, Repti Planet and Rep Tech.

What shoppers ask

  • Which UVB for a 100×40×40 leopard-gecko terrarium?
  • Add a 26 cm Trixie snake hide to this
  • A 60×45×40 for a Budgett’s frog – water and land?

AI Chat Agent

Step 03

Livestock, Feeders & Honest Stock

Feeder insects, supplements and live animals

Feeder insects, supplements and live species were wired in with their real rules – feeding frequency, calcium and D3 dosing, live-animal shipping in insulated boxes. When a species like a GBB tarantula isn’t in stock, the agent says so plainly, offers an in-stock alternative and never invents a restock date.

What shoppers ask

  • What and how often do I feed a leopard gecko?
  • Which calcium with D3 for a leopard gecko?
  • Do you have a female GBB tarantula in stock?

What GadziSklep shoppers actually ask

Almost every chat is one shopper building a home for an animal: which enclosure, what UVB and heating, which substrate and hides, what to feed and which supplements. Search and advice lead by a wide margin, then specs and dimensions – a single chat often specs a whole setup, which is why conversations run long. This is an expert breeder on the chat, not a support desk.
