Nobody browses tyres
A tyre is a considered purchase that most people make reluctantly, once every few years, without knowing the vocabulary. The size is on the sidewall but the decision isn’t: summer, winter or all-season; 68 dB or 71; what the load index has to be; whether a 185 will sit on a 5½J rim; whether the cheap brand is the same rubber as the expensive one. Four hundred euros is riding on getting it right.
Those are showroom questions, and they used to need a person who knew tyres to answer them. Over half of them arrive in the evening, when nobody is on the other end — and an unanswered “which one?” is not a delayed sale, it is a shopper who opens a comparison site instead.

Rollout
How they rolled it out
One module, three jobs — and they were added in the order a shopper meets them: find the tyre, judge it, then trust the shop enough to buy four of it.
Step 01
Size & Season Search
From a car to a shortlist
The catalogue is indexed by size, season and load index, so a shopper who knows only their car and a budget still lands on three real options.
What shoppers ask
- All-season 205/65 R15 for a Berlingo, about €46 each
- Summer tyres for a Ford Mondeo Mk4
- Which all-season in 245/35 R19 rides softest?
Step 02
Label & Review Grounding
Judging one tyre against another
EU label figures, tread specs and owner reviews were pulled into the same answer — so the agent can say 71 dB is mid-pack, and that a model scores 4.6/6 with 97% recommending it.
What shoppers ask
- Is 71 dB a loud tyre?
- What’s the difference between the RF11 and RF12?
- Are Arisun and Goodride the same thing?
Step 03
Policy & Order Access
The questions that close the sale
Production-date rules, what a take-off tyre is, promotion conditions and live order status — the trust questions that come last and decide whether the basket is paid for.
What shoppers ask
- What year were these tyres made?
- What does “take-off” mean — is it a return?
- Is there a discount on a full set?
From real conversations
What SklepOpon shoppers actually ask
One topic is more than a third of everything asked, and it isn't a fault or a delivery date — it's "which tyre should I buy". Size, season, budget, noise, brand and production year, in that order. This is a shop where the sale is won by advice.
